This is such a hard one, so much to choose from...
Assuming that his demo would include some of the new stamps and dies, I guess that I would like best to see all of the different things that we can do with the Distress Stains.
(I know that I really picked three things, but there's so much to tempt me to empty my wallet, I need to decide where to start!!!!)

aprilann07082 said...

I think I'd like to see him work with stamps. He always comes up with something a bit nontraditional which always seems to put me in a creative mood. Although, frankly, I'd take any class!

Tim Holtz is so gifted, I would like him to show the uses of his lace and ribbon flowers. My curiosity is how he's going to incorporate this into his style. I know he's not much into bling so this peaks my curiosity of uses.

I think it would have to be a year-long class first of all! Does this man ever run out of inspiration or great new products to try? I think for me I love the way he combines products - his stamps, inks, and dies along with all of his trinkets etc. to make one of a kind creations! I love it all - and it is all inspiring! I wish I had his new die-cutting machine so I could try the movers and shapers dies! :) Someday...

I am just starting to get involved with mini books. Would love to see Tim teach a class on how to use his idea-ology stuff to make a cool book. It gets a little fuzzy for me when it comes time to adhere and use all of the elements. Sometimes I get lost when I see a video where they say something like, 'just attach the elements, charms, and whatever you want to use'---and that's where I get lost. Attach them, how? Tim is always great at presenting easy-to-understand instructions for a newbie. Would love to see something like this kind of video detail for a mini book.

Bluemoon is always my 1st stop for Tims stuff by the way. Your customer service can't be beat, prices are good, & love the free shipping with a $50 order...even though I never seeem to be able to stop at 50 lol.

O wow! I would love to take ANY class from him!! He is great! and so are his products. Since I haven't stamped hardly at all and fairly new to scrapbooking (not a "seasoned veteran" like most of the talent here) I would love to take a class on stamping with all those beautiful new (and old)distress stains. Oh and also how he would use stain or ink on his new Trimmings in the Lavish White to change the color!!

P.S. LOVE THE BAG!!!!

First of all-thank you for all the personal service and care each one of my orders receives at Blue Moon. You all are fabulous. A BIG second thank you for a second chance to win such a great gift. I would love to take a class from Tim when he uses his new backward stamps and distress stains.

I would choose the distress stains. Tim always can show you about 50 ways to use his products in a ten minute video, I don't know what he could do with a whole class period. I am not sure why I need the stains. I KNOW that I do, but I am just not sure why. Tim could tell me why, sell me every color and have me buying one of everything else he designs and two of some. Then Scott would have me going to Bluemoon Scrapbooking dot com to purchase it all!!! Thanks for the opportunity!

Sharon Sutton said...

If I am taking a Tim Holtz (I'd be dizzy with excitement)class I'd love to be in one where he is using the Sizzix Alterations Die Sewing Room Dress Form.

Heck, I would just love to see Tim in person!!

Oh, btw, I have to say that bag is da bomb! I LOVE it!

Anonymous said...

I would love to see exactly how to use the dry embossing that only embosses on one side.

Jennifer Newcomb said...

Each round of releases-- no matter what the item-- you can see that his thought looked so far ahead-- that there is a grand vision in Tim's head. Although his line becomes more expansive and varied as time goes on, the bigger it gets, the more it all comes together. Each item gains more bang for the buck as it ties into the next item. The colors and textures all work together; the dies, and stamps, the metal and grungeboard-- I feel like I have building blocks instead of fad items that become obsolete next month. I never used to watch the videos- but he's really sucked me into watching to see how I can use it all together. So I always want to see him make anything that illustrated how the new items work with the old. It makes me feel like even my old stuff is new again when I learn a new use by adding MORE and MORE and MORE!!!!!! I've realized I need it ALL to make it work (that's what I've told my husband!)

Faith said...

I would choose the Kraft Resist Paper or the Glassine paper/envelopes... And I would LOVE to carry my class supplies in that bag! :)
