*Memories* Mini Tag Album Craft O'Clock Rays of Sunshine

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today I have a Mini Tag Album to share using the Gorgeous collection from Craft O'Clock Rays of Sunshine.  I used recycled thin chipboard packaging to back the pages with.  I love how it turned out and it has various sizes to the album.
I did some paper punching to some of the papers for the background which is always a nice added texture.

I also did some fussy cutting using the Extras To Cut pack,  and boy is there alot in that pack to create with!  I added Chipboard Die-Cut pieces in the album.
For added texture I added crocheted doilies,  buttons,  flowers and twine from my stash.

I created a little card insert for the pocket.

I had paper doilies in my stash that I used for photo matting. I added another crocheted doily,  flowers and a button on this page.
I used one sheet of paper to cover the back side of the page,  that could be used for journaling or more photos.

On the last page I added BlueBlue Fern Studios Lace and Chipboard Die-cut clock.

Here is the back page,  this is what all the back pages look like with different papers from the collection.
This was so fun and quick to create plus another bonus was recycling packaging chipboard.

I don't know about you but when I get new supplies in I don't want to throw out the packaging.  This is a great way to put good use to just tossing out packaging.

I hope you have some crafty time this week and will try recycling your packaging!

Happy Creating!

Shabby "Love" Scrapbook Layout Pion Designs Life is Peachy

Happy Friday Crafty Friends,  where did this week go???  I finally have a shabby beautiful layout I created using the gorgeous paper collection from Life is Peachy collection from Pion Designs!  Oh my goodness I'm in love with this collection!
One of my favorite techniques I love using when creating a layout is paper tearing,  I love the white that peaks through with a distressed look.  I did some paper tearing,  added some beautiful lace behind the torn paper which gave it a soft feel to this layout.

I added Prima flowers,  handmade flowers from my sweet friends Patty and Christina and also flowers from Reneabouquets.
I used tag cutouts and the large frame from the cutout sheet.  I also added beautiful board chipboard and 2 of my favorite Butterflies from Reneabouquets.
I love the softness of this off white tulle netting I used behind the cutout frame.
The image is so sweet,  I had to fussy cut it and add it to this layout!

I added flowers galore to my layout and sometimes it never seems to be enough in my opinion!
From my stash I added Reneabouquets beautiful beads,  prills and seed beads to add sparkle and more texture.

Sometimes I struggle with making my first cut into beautiful papers this time it was tearing the paper and sometimes that's a bit scary because in my head I ask "what if I ruin the paper"???  On the other hand I tell myself just keep going and in the end it will turn out!  So don't be afraid to get into those beautiful papers you might be hoarding and have fun creating something beautiful!

I hope I've inspired you today to create something amazing and beautiful!

Prima Farm Sweet Farm layout

Hello Crafty Friends Happy National Scrapbook Day continued!  What are you crafting this week?  Today I have a layout using Prima's Farm Sweet Farm collection!  Somehow I missed the revealing of this collection!  I'm in love with the browns,  golds and shades of pink/red!
As always I love to layer up my layout to the point of nearly being to fat to load into a sleeve!
I love to add layers using diecuts and ephemera cutouts and lots of flowers!
One of my favorite embellishments to complete my projects are Reneabouquets butterflies,  they inspire me and I just love all her designs!

I used my paper punches and Tim Holtz paper distresser,  I love this look!

I used a bunch of Prima Flowers from my stash and also Blue Fern Studios lace,  that lace is SO gorgeous and dainty!

Here is a close up of Reneabouquets handcrafted premium butterflies,  it's one of many favorites of mine!

With a little sparkle I added glitter diecut leaves,  it's that perfect bling for this layout!

Whenever I'm creating with beautiful collections I'm always worried about covering up the designs but sometimes you just have to get past it and move on to creating!

I have a large doily die that I cut to build my layers.  I also used a Tim Holtz Frame for the cutout from the collection.

Graphic 45 Cottage Life Scrapbook Layout

Hello Crafty Friends!  What's your newest collection and what are you creating?  I've been in the mood to create layouts!  When I saw Graphic 45's Cottage Life collection I new I wanted to create something with lots of flowers but I had no idea it was going to have a dark background.  I love how it turned out,  you can take a closer look at the details below!
I started with a few different sheets from the collection doing floral diecutting and various fussy cutting of floral clusters.  I shaped my floral diecuts,  glued them together and started designing my layout.

I gathered chipboard I had in my stash from Reneabouquets,  Prima Flowers and a Graphic 45 Floral pack of flowers to add dimension and layers.
Once I had all my floral pieces,  chipboard and leaves I added chipboard and cutouts from the collection.

I added beads to the center of a few of the flowers,  it's a fun way to add texture and interest to any project!

With a little bit of time diecutting you can create a beautiful project and add so much dimension and texture!  I hope you liked what I've created and you're inspired to get your crafting on!

Home Sweet Home Scrapbook Layo0ut

Hello Bluemoon Scrapbooking Fans!  Happy Monday!!!  Hope everyone is doing well!  Today I layout using Prima Painted Floral collection,  isn't it so fun???  It's so fresh and summery, I love the colors in this collection!

I began by cutting 2 seperate sheets in half and then I grabbed another sheet and started tearing bringing out that white for texture.

Once I was happy with the tearing I glued the pieces down and started fussy cutting,  then cut a tag and added jute to it to start my background design.

From my stash I used crocheted doilies and Prima fabric floral trim for texture and dimension.  I also used chipboard from this collection for my layers.
I love anything with butterflies,  so of course I fussy cut out a couple of the butterflies from the cutout sheet from this collection.
I added Prima Flowers and leaves,  glitter,  seedbeads,  Say it with Crystals and sequins for my layers.

Once I was finished with glueing everying down I flicked some white acrylic paint for the finishing touch.

If you love summery and cheery colors this collection is for you!  Hurry and grab it before it's gone!  You can purchase this collection and so much more at Bluemoon Scrapbooking!
