Recycled Mist Challenge

Reuse, Reduce, Recyle- famous words by Bob the Builder.  Let's do it!  Sure anyone can recycle their weekly garbage, but have you recycled your scrapbooking mists?

Lets play a Recycled Mist Challenge -use your leftover misted ink.

Playing with paper, sticker, chipboard, tissue, paper towels, paper bags... that has been recycled from leftover mist as the main challenge.  Using your Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Maya Road Mist, Smooch or own version made with re-inkers and a Ranger mini mister...
Here's how:
Spray your regular projects and keep the underneath layer to cut up or use whole.  If you spray on a craft sheet, use the leftover mist on the craft sheet for your project.

This Challenge ends June 19th.

Birds and Butterflies Challenge

The Master Cutter Challenge has ended and boy are there some fantastic entries- thanks to everyone who played!

Here's the new challenge for you!
You're at the grocery store picking out your tomatoes and out of the corner of your eye you notice someone and do a double take.  Hey, that's Tim Holtz! So, you walk up and say hi and the converation turns to his hot, new Alteration Dies ... and I don't know how this happened, but next thing I knew he's handing me a butterfly die - I about fainted...  do you think any of my friends will believe me- where is the camera when you need it!

The challenge is to to use birds and/or butterflies in our layout, card....
The Winner can choose : A Tim Holtz Butterfly Die (which by the way makes a butterfly, dragonfly or a bee) and $10.00 to BlueMoon OR $30.00 to BlueMoon- in case you are crazy enough not to have a die-cutting machine- LOL.

This Challenge ends May 22nd.

April Challenge

For Aprils Challenge you've taken a class with a chinese paper master cutter, now after an afternoon of intense study it's time to put your new found skills to the test. Pour yourself a very small cup of tea get yourself balanced, pull out your very sharp scissor (Tim Holtz Scissors of course) and let the ancient sprits work their magic in your fingers.

In simple terms: Take a paper with a graphic design, like Webster's Pages, Graphic 45 or even American Crafts... and make the paper be one or more of your embellishments. Cut and have fun.

This Challenge ends April 17th.

The March Challenge

February's challenge has ended and it was so exciting seeing all the entries.  I want to thank everyone for playing and we really hope to see you again this month!  Everyone, even the winner can try again!  I will post a winner this Thursday the 25th.

Here's the March Challenge Set Up:
You live in a rural County, in fact so rural the closest scrapbooking store is many miles away and you get the chance to shop only once in a while. You shop online normally, at… joy, oh joy BlueMoonScrapbooking! On a whimsy, your neighbor says “I’m going to town, want a lift?” Well, you hop in and the neighbor says “I’ll drop you off and pick you up in a bit”. Fabulous – except you have been dropped off at the hardware store with only cardboard shapes, nuts and bolts, wire and mesh… available. Time to push the creativity button as you work with the supplies from the hardware store.

For this challenge use Cardboard/Grungeboard shapes we recommend Donna Salarzar, Tim Holtz and/or another hardware store item.

Our First Challenge

All right girls are you ready for a challenge! This is our first BlueMoon Challenge which we'd love to see YOU join in.
This is a Vintage Challenge - Remember the good old times when things were simple and neighbors and relatives all had doilies. The mothers and grandmothers gathering with the smell of small fine pasteries, percolating coffee and crème filled the air.  Make a layout using an old photo and a doilie.

Challenge ends Feb. 20th.
