"Recently I found out about the Heroes Card Drive -- where cards are being sent to the service men and woman overseas so they can send them to their loved ones. They asked for the cards to be handmade and pretty simple in design so they aren't too bulky for them to send out. I had a lot of fun making these!" ~~Julie

Finger knitting

"My girls are always looking for ideas of crafty things to do. So, you can
imagine their excitement when their daycare teacher showed them how to finger
knit. Sara learned very quickly, and took her wool with her, during a weekend
road trip we took earlier this year. Once settled into our hotel room for the
night, she started to knit. I think her creation was 20 feet long before she
tired of it. She certainly had fun!" ~~Susan
