Autumn Leaves
A Rhonna Christmas Collection-perfect! The stars have glitter!
Foof-a-La Indian Summer warm and soft.
MOD techo pop has the coolest plastic pieces making pages pop!
I didn't know I was a big button lover until I bought my first bag-o-buttons from Autumn Leaves. There are tons of color and shapes, the most unusual kinds. Now I can't get enough. I love the new Basic Grey buttons too-especially that cute packaging!

Me Too !
Always great in life to be reminded of the those things that are truly important. Lisa mentioned Friday one of those wonderful reminders - an outstanding book called "Thanks". Since I know the log in to the blog - I had to take the opportunity to share my thanks - my gratitude
I'm thankful for the smiles my son brings
I'm thankful for the beautiful sunrise this morning while exercising with our 2 dogs
I'm thankful for opportunity - any and all
I'm grateful and humbled to know that young men would protect our freedom
I'm thankful I've learned more about what is important - especially lately

Fancy Pants
We are so excited to have the new Fancy Pants posies, felt and transparencies in.
I'm going to use this Baby Box Chipboard Album, but since I don't know if we're having a boy or girl-
I thought I'd put together the album leaving space for pictures. Using soft pastels -I've never tryed making a page without a picture.
I'm getting excited to scrap baby though, so I'll dabble a little now!
Don't you love the hugh felt swirl!
Added some American Crafts Green gift Box Chipboard Thickers to this picture above.
Check out the Store Window in the gallery for more pictures.

Thankful
I just finished reading "Thanks! How the new science of gratitude can make you happier" by Robert A. Emmons. Scott and I highly recommend it for inspiration and postive thinking.
I thought I'd share some of my thankful thoughts on this Friday.
• Thankful I have 2 more months until the birth.
• Thankful I've come this far with no problems.
• Thankful I don't live in past times where they didn't have soft furniture to sit on.
• Thankful for a washing machine. I can't imagine handwashing ALL the laundry with this sore back of mine.
• Thankful the weather is cooling off and the sun is shining.
If you'd like to share thankful thoughts of yours today- please comment.

Chewable Shirt
Only a couple more months left wearing pregancy clothes and boy that makes me happy.
I altered this sleveless shirt which was cut a little too low for my likes
with American Crafts felt flowers and Autumn Leaves buttons.
Last week a certain long nosed dog found the shirt quite interesting...
just laying on the ironing board all lonely. Wow it smelled delicious! She ate all the flowers and buttons off! Nothing else chewed!?
Boy, don't you just love dogs? Whenever they are quiet -watch out!
Since the weather is still in the 100's I fixed the shirt with
new flowers and buttons.

Gila Monster
Once again, a Gila Monster visits our yard. We thought it best to move him along so the dogs wouldn't see him. We've heard if they bite onto a dog they won't let go unless the dog drops the Gila onto his legs on the ground. I'm sure my dogs would follow thes instructions!
Actually, I find it hard to believe a person would be calm enough to place him on the ground once he is attached to you.
We just stay our distance and take pictures. They are sooo prehistoric looking.
Scott squited him with water and instead of moving out of the yard, he climbed the wall.
We let him be and after a few minutes he climbed down and finally left.
Now that Fall is approaching I guess we won't see him until spring.
