Favorite photo

An absolutely gorgeous layout from Melissa Mann!
"I imitated the look of a quilt on the top part of my layout. I punched out a bunch of circles and then folded them into squares. I laid them down side by side and then stitched them all down. It was very tedious work and took quite a while, but the end result is well worth the time and effort!" ~~Melissa

7gypsies Venice gaffer tape

Playing around with 7gypsies Venice gaffer tape.  I painted the tape with Golden Iridescent Bronze, which has a lot of iridescent pigment by the way:) and Raw umber.  The tape a a slight raise in it so when you rub the paint color off with a paper towel the letters pop out.

Capture

A gorgeous layout by Melissa Mann!
"I used the lines on the bottom based pattern paper as a guide for stitching some lines across. It doesn't show up well in the photo, but it adds some nice texture to the layout in real life. I also cut out the small "journaling" cards from the October Afternoon Pattern Paper and rounded the corners of them. I layered them across the middle of the layout and on the very last one, I added some buttons to imitate an old fashioned button card. Lastly, I added a sprinkling of butterflies across the layout to lead your eye across." ~~Melissa
