7gypsies Lille Collection Layout

Playing with the new 7gypsies Lille collection.  My oh my these papers are fun to work with. The papers scream... rip, tear, cut me!  While I was ripping.... I had to rip some paper tape too.
I cut and inked the Lille Tag - beautiful.  The red ticket at the bottom was attached to the tag.
I inked the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Fired Brick. To smooth it out, instead of using an applicator Ranger tool - I rubbed Colorbox Fluid Chalk over the straight lines the inking pad made.   The color smoothes out with the chalk over it.

3D Sizzix Flower Die for the black flower bottom right.
Background paper white with Tattered Angels Glimmer misting

I was playing with the Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Sizzix Baroque Dies and Photo Corner Die.  At the end of the video I used a McGill punch and the McGill tools.

Another Beautiful One

An absolutely gorgeous layout by Rahel Menig with a great photo tip!
And a tip from Rahel: "Sometimes you might have a photograph, that you wanna really showcase on a layout. A good tip for that is to print it out twice and kinda make a collage with it! Such a double effect ;)"

I'd like to introduce a great guest designer this month.

If you have watched YouTube videos on scrapbooking you have probably seen Alene's popular videos. We are happy to share her latest BlueMoon creations for the next few days.

My name is Arlene and I'm a wife and mother to 3 wonderful little boys. I work full-time as a project manager during the day and masquerade at night as "Butterflykisses" on YouTube, Blogger and Facebook. LOL! I first started scrapbooking in 1994 when I first met my husband. I kept everything and anything from movie stubs, plane tickets... even matchbooks and brochures from places we visited while we were dating. I attended my first craft party and was instantly hooked on creating cards and lay-outs. It's all history from there! I like to describe my style as "vintage-grunge" with a little bit of shabby chic mixed in. LOL! I love creating anything from tags, cards, mini albums, canvases to altered boxes!
