Love you

I love this "love you" page by Rahel Menig!
"On January first my husband and I went shooting at the "land". It was fun and before we left he thought we shouold take some self-timer shots of ourselves... I *hate* to do this - don't ask me why... But now I am SO glad we did! I love this picture so much! Instead of going with the color scheme of the photo I decided to go with the feeling - love love love."...Rahel

Family photo memories

A beautifully layered layout by Melissa Mann!

Here is what Melissa has to say about her layout:
"I absolutely LOVED the sheet of American Crafts "The Classics" Paper that had the multicolored diamonds on it. The colors & design just really caught my eye. After I had placed that piece of paper in the lower left hand corner of my layout, I was trying to find a way to subtly highlight the paper and colors. I cut out some of the diamonds and layered them on top of the paper using pop-dots. I love the effect!
Another quick tip:  I wanted to use the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Die Cut Paper - but, I didn't like the pink behind my picture.  I flipped it over & waa-laa! I had a nice white die cut instead :-)"

Ad inspiration

A gorgeous layout and card from Melissa Mann!

Here is what Melissa has to say about her layout:
"I was looking through some magazines the other day and saw some ads in there that gave me some inspiration for layout ideas. I took the following ad and based my layout off of it:"





And here is what Melissa has to say about her card:
"I used the packaging from one of the Prima packs on this card. I cut off the top that had the manufacturer name on it and used it as the background on my card. I layered some punched out circles & cut out the star & the "love" word with my Slice. I used a Martha Stewart Border Punch and placed it along the right hand side of the Prima packaging and then sprinkled some little dots from the American Crafts Thickers."
