If I were a gyspy, I would travel to somewhere exotic and remote that couldn't be reached by public or mass transportation; where I'd have to rely on the locals to teach me the language and customs -and I wouldn't bring a watch or calendar. I'd just the days flow by until it was time to move on again!

If I were a gypsy, I would travel all the way through Asia Visiting Thailand, India, Japan and China. Tasting all the wonderful food and experiencing these fanatstic cultures. I would go on to safari in Kenya, then cage dive with Great White Sharks in South Africa before moving on to some of the tropical Islands e.g. Mauritius. Then on to Dubai, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia. I would then leave for the USA where I would drive from North to South. Ahhhhhhhhh a girl can dream can't she?? Now where did I leave my lottery ticket?........

Scotland-I want to hear the bagpipes on the moors! And since I was fortunate to have one of the Queen's on pipers stay with me when we were stationed in Germany and we had to walk up 3 floors of stairs to reach our apartment, I already know what pipers wear under their kilts! What I found most fascinating was the amount of time they spent getting their kilts swinging in perfect synchronization before they started marching-it was incredible.

As a gypsy, I would travel with my caravan through Paris, Munich, Prague and Vienna... collecting chance treasures in the markets and streets. We would then, no doubt, continue wandering through asia, on to China and Mongolia.

I now have Cher's song about gypsies playing in my head! I was an original "flower child" in the 60's and wore grannie dresses and flowers in my hair - and beads, oh my. I would love to travel anywhere there are lush grasses to feel under my bare feet and fields of fragrant flowers, and streams of clear water to splash in.

As a gypsy I'd always be on the go. I believe I'd begin my wanderings in Greece, sail across the sea and back to Egypt (how I love that place), wander down to experience a safari, then venture on to the continent of Asia. Certainly, Asia would take a while before I head back to Europe and British Isles. From there I'd head to the Americas going top to bottom. The next venture would be down under. There I would laze upon a beach and ponder where my gypsy blood would lead me next!

If I were a gypsy, I think I'd travel to Europe first (starting with Paris). I've only been one (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Spain) in high school. It was an absolute whirlwind (16 hours a day on a tour bus) and I was too busy looking for cute boys to truly appreciate the countries we visited. Hopefully I'll act a little more maturely if I get to visit again!

My version of a gypsy would be to travel a few days (or weeks)without a "master plan". To wander on a whim. To set out for days at a time without really knowing what to expect. I love color. I love music (even if it is only inside my head). I want my camera at hand. I would let the weather be my guide, & my mood be my speedometer.

I've been lucky enough to live for 11 years on the shores of West Mexico, in our sailboat. To me it was exotic, remote, and very relaxing. No schedules, clocks, or calendars. Learning the customs and life style of the locals, becoming part of their lives, was so enriching. If I was a gypsy, I'd love to visit Costa Rica, wandering the same way I did while in Mexico. I would also love to live with the Amish for a year or two, learning and sharing what I've learned about living off the land.
