3)If I were a designer for Basic Grey I would introduce the world to more Gnomes! ;) More of an eclectic dream garden type scenario. Butterflies, snails, mushrooms, Whimsical trees, woodgrain, beautiful vibrant flowers . Very bold primary colors....lots of red. Polkadots are a must. Maybe a whimsical version of this little guy:

    3) If I were a designer for Basic Grey I would give the scrapbooking community a whole new perspective of not playing by the rules. I would introduce particularly an artsy approach. I would teach you how you can utilized the paper's patterns and turn them into a new and impressive layout. I would love to see more shapes, flourishes and floral patterns that are easy and ever so enticing to cut out. I'm always one to use what the paper gives me.In doing this, I feel I have brought out the papers true creative intentions!!

I would be creating a boyish line with blues and greens and yellows. Fun patterns that weren't item specific.

The vintage lines would have pinks and greys and cutsie line would have bold yellows and reds! There would be something from everyone- frog lover or not (...BTW I can't stand real frogs, but cute fake frogs make me smile :)

    3. If I were a BG Designer I would lean towards more artsy stuff. I love BG but I also love using paints and inks in my layouts. I almost lean towards grunge. I have found BG is perfect for that but why not make a whole line around that style???

  12. OOOHHHHH.... another batch of YUM!
definitely a follower here (although i used to just drop by and see what was new, now i can get updates as they're posted - woot!).

my post about the sale/giveaway is HERE!

and wow, what hasn't already been covered by the geniuses at BasicGrey? if i had to search for something that i thought might be the next hot trend, i'd probably go for a different kind of vintage feel. i LOVE the imagery in the Recess and Obscure collections, so maybe something that revolves around vintage toys and old ads silhouettes, with bold but distressed primary colours. and maybe introduce a line of BG exclusive charms to coordinate.

    i wonder if they're hiring!

If I were a designer I´d create a sort of retro line, something with a 50´s touch, pin-up girls, plaids, vintage toys and food adds. I´d use blue and yellow, love that colors.

  14. I would create a fun printed primary colors paper line. The "it" image I would use for that line to coordinate with my line would be varied stamped/chipboard/doodled numbers. Numbers are so fun! :)

Thanks for the chance! I also blogged about this: scrappygolucky.blogspot.com

    3) If I were a designer for you, firstly, I would faint. Then I would thank God for granting my biggest wish! Ok - I would go with deeper, richer colors. Burgandy, deep purple, gold, emerald. It would be a "Just for Me" line. It would include journaling prompts, lots of flowers, butterflies, and stamps or cardstock shapes of things like cooking, writing, sewing, holding a baby, painting, doing dishes, just being a woman!

If I were a designer for BG I would design something with SQUIRRELS!!! LOVE 'em! I know, sounds silly, but I think they're so cute! Something using blue/green/yellow/brown. For indoor or outdoor pics!

If I were a new BG designer (my dream job!) I would create a line with dark red and turqoise blue. The line would feature stained glass type designs/images.

My next fad would be a international theme... with designs based around different countries. So many countries have their own type of paintings and designs. Not flags and travel but the art from different countries

Stripes, plaid, pleats (think of the fiber possibilities!!), metal accents, glitter and sparkles.

  24. 1)I'm a follower

2)I have posted the event on my sidebar at Create With Joy!

3)I love vintage and would love to go with that theme! I would create vintage in soft feminine romantic colors though like pinks and purples and blues and lilacs - none of those browns and dark colors! I'd add some artsy collage images and silhouttes - maybe a silhouette of the top half of a woman in a hat surrounded by wildflowers and butterflies - something with birds - something with music - something with timepieces - old faves presented in an updated BG way!

Thanks and again I just love BG and Bluemoon!!
