I had a tough week last week....but my dear sweet 2 year old grandson was eating his ice cream and he looked up at me with those baby blues and said...SOME MeMe and proceeded to feed me his bowl of strawberry ice cream....When we finished he smiled and said GOOD MeMe!!! ReplyDeleteWhat put a smile on my face was having my mother's birthday party yesterday at my house with friends and relatives. She had such a wonderful time and it was great seeing my aunts from TX and KY.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful giveaway! Let's see something that made me smile - We went to purchase flowers at a greenhouse with grandma, my sister in law and her two little girls. My three year old and her three year old walked hand in hand up and down the aisles searching for their own flowers. Was so cute to see them walk amongst all the blooms and whispering and laughing to each other.

ReplyDeleteGreat question! My 17 yo son put a smile on my face. We love to watch Stargate: Universe together. I was out of town for over a week and there were 2 episodes on the DVR. He waited until I could watch it with him, gotta love when 17yo boy wants to spend time with Mom! He makes me smile a lot!

ReplyDeleteWent to Ikea Friday and got a craft table with an under-table drawer unit! Woo hoo, did that put a great big smiley on my kisser! We just got two colonies of honeybees to shelter and care for = another big smiley. About 40,000 new pets. And I just spent about two hours (so I'm slow) making an awesome card with River City Rubberworks' stamps of two older ladies dressed for church, with the sentiment, "We'll be friends until we're blue in the hair." It's my new favorite combo!

Something that put a smile on my face lately is my Moroccan husband taking the oath to become an American Citizen on Friday. The ceremony had a nice little movie that sang praises to our troops (with the song, I'm Proud to be an American) and a little history of America. It just made me so proud! :-)

Cute stuff in the giveaways. Something that put a smile on my face...watching my cat - that is indoors - spend about two hours trying to chase the birds that are outdoors. I though she was going to take out the screen door a couple of times...makes me laugh every time but I wonder if it is considered kitty torture.

Sweet giveaway! Today I am smiling because my niece is finally home from Paris. She left on a 14-day school trip on April 3, but was "stuck" for an extra 10 days due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Great experience for the kids, but happy to have them all back.
