ReplyDeleteAre you kidding ? I use flee marked bits on all my vintage cards; like old ribbon and definitely paper from vintage books. Last time I went to a flee market I was so lucky to find an old psalm book; suited me perfectly for some of my Christmas projects !

ReplyDeleteI love using old buttons and skeleton keys in my layouts! One of my favorite things was my great grandmother's hankerchief that I scapped in my wedding album! I had carried it down the aisle with me and seeing it used in my wedding scrapbook is a way of preserving my heritage and passing it on to my future grandkids! thanks for such an awesome giveaway!

ReplyDeleteMy aunt passed away recently and in cleaning out her house we found some of the most wonderful vintage paper "stuff" that I have been using on my pages. The items range from postcards to old receipts to old letters. Not only has it been a boon to my pages but I've learned a few things about my late aunt as well.

My father, gone now, was an old time locksmith. He has a lot of old vintage keys and various hardware goodies in my garage. They seemed like rusty old junk to some people, but to me a part of the past I knew I'd have use for one day, and now I do! I'm thinking some Websters pages would compliment my hardware!
