My favorite idea in the Basic Grey newsletter would be the cards. They're so beautiful, fun and colorful! I love it :)

I loved the story "Becoming Mrs. Cleaver." I feel the same way that Maggie does/did. My mom and grandmother are fantastic cooks. My 2nd daughter loves to cook. I'm glad she got the itch. I have started to collect family recipes for her. This collection would be a great way to present them to her. Right now they are paper/notecards-nothing fancy. I will have to look at this collection a bit more closely for this gift.
Thank you for the giveaway!

I have to say I think the little outfit made by Heather Bowser using the Figgy Pudding fabrics was the cutest thing I've ever seen! Plus, I just love those papers...too bad they're discontinued :-(

I just love the Nook and Pantry line. I especially liked the mini recipe book and the story of daughter becoming like mother. I think that is so true!

I went to the Basic Grey newsletter and they had plenty of really clever and cute ideas. I think the one I thought I would enjoy the most was the class teaching you to make a collection of 8 original cards. Awesome.

And also the Mrs Cleaver story. Sometimes I think I have becomed my mother-and it happened overnight-so it seems. Maybe the realization comes over night and the transistion isn't so quick!?
