Life in the dessert- always interesting. Like this morning, our
Ridgeback sounded the alarm by barking up a storm, and look what we found. We enjoy our neighbors but not his one, in fact we told him to find a new neighborhood.
Is it me, this snake seems to have a mean face- I guess they all do to people who don't like poisonous snakes. I could hear his rattle from across the yard and unfortunately I've heard the sound before so, I knew, the unwanted neighbor.
Hard to see isn't he. If the dog wasn't barking I find it hard to believe I would have seen him.
Nice pic of a Snake!!! YIKES!!!I HATE SNAKES so much. I'm just glad that you didn't find it before the dog did. How did you get that close? If it were me, I would have run screaming into the house and shut all the doors.
ReplyDeleteThis is the one thing I HATE about nature.
Isn't he the scariest thing. Makes me glad I live in Philly-no rattlesnakes here.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't go running into the house -the idea did come into my head. I had to watch him so when the Fire Department comes they know where he is. A huge Thanks to firemen, they always come and calmly grab the snake with their tool. This man talked to the snake -they are fabulous!
