A beautiful and touching layout by Julie Bonner!
I love this picture of my son & my best friend's daughter. We had just celebrated our Christmas with them & Ryan was so into the doll we bought for her. He is so excited for our own baby to arrive & was asking me all kinds of questions about how to take care of it :) I loved how the 2 of them are hovering over the little doll, taking care of her together. They reminded me of a married couple with their newborn :)
The close-ups showcase making the most of your embellishments by cutting them in half - a great way to multiply the embellishments you have & be able to spread them through the layout. You'll notice in the first close-up the Maya Road sheer doily and the patterned paper circle have been cut in half. They are used here & again on the lower left side of the layout. The second close-up displays a journaling die-cut that I cut in half. It created a great accent at the top of the page that was both decorative and functional for journaling.
