I would have to say I am split. Gold is more serious, but silver is just fun! "Bling" - in any style - is great. But when you are not sure, go for the old standby - pearls!
For me it could change from season to season but right now I love the rich, warm shades of gold....especially now with the feeling of fall in the air.

I would say it's split I have an equal amount of embellies in gold and silver but a distressed brass probably tops both. That beautiful butterfly could have a person rethinking that!
I only use gold for Christmas-Layouts. During the other months silver is the metall I love!

I have to say silver. I'm drawn to it. It seems more timeless to me.
I tend to gravitate toward cool colors so silver goes with them best I believe. I also like silver with pearls.
I would have to say that I tend to use more of the golds and bronze colors in my layouts and mini books. Don't know why, just feels natural to me.

I'm definitely a "silver" gal ... just seems to shimmer and shine a cut above the rest. And my favorite holiday song is of course, Silver Bells! Hi Ho Silver, and away!

I would have to say silver because I like the color better I'm not much of a gold fan, i just think silver is beautiful.

Hmmm, I think I use mostly silver, often antiqued too, and lots of gems in clear.
I prefer silver. I have always preferred to buy items in a vintage silver look.

I scrap with more silver. I think I like it so much because it can be so retro, modern, and even antique with the right altered art technique. I really don't use gold much although it would be a good "step out of the box" challenge for me. Thanks for the opp to win such beautiful scrap goodies!
Hmmm..hard one for me as I use both a lot but maybe gold a bit more..
I find myself using more silver than gold, specially with girls in the house it gives a better contrast than gold does.
I use more silver because I love the distressed look and the silver seems to go best with the grunge.
Fortunately we are never limited and we can do it all!
