Making Memories Fa, La, La

Now I'm walking around singing Christmas songs, thinking about which Christmas goodies to collect for the holiday layouts. Seems funny since it's August, but it seems funny to have Christmas without snow, too. When the kids get older I'd love to go somewhere cold and snowy for Christmas. When you don't live there you don't have to worry about shoveling!
O.K. now I can stop daydreaming and get back to blogging... Look at these glitter letters, not only sparkly, but a pretty typestyle.

Bazzill not just paper

We've never bought Bazzill paper edges before, but couldn't pass up on these designs with great colors. I like the idea of adding texture and contrast with stamping or dabbing...but solid is easy and nice, and how about their new pom pom and tulle ribbon!

Simple layout using an older FancyPants overlay. I really just wanted to show how quick transparencies are, add some thickers and chip pieces and you're done.

What a fabulous idea and I couldn't think of a better company to have a
line of fabrics. Save a little time to make something fun with fabric, if not
just to add texture to your scrapbooking projects. Make some fabric strips and tie them on your albums like ribbon. It's a nice soft look.

Tarantula

Monsoon season here, so bugs are expected but - not welcome! This ittle guy I spotted on the pool edge yesterday. It is one thing to know we have them - we see their holes around the yard but, I'd rather keep it a looooong distance relationship.
